Karin Penkala has extensive experience in leadership and strategic management within the financial and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as SVP and Head of Institutional & International Wealth Services at First Eagle Investments since May 2006, Karin previously held a role in development at the American Cancer Society from February 2005 to May 2006. Prior to that, Karin spent nearly seven years at Capital One Financial in various positions, including Senior Agency Relationship Manager, where the focus was on managing relationships with collection agencies and overseeing recovery portfolios. Karin also excelled as Senior Associate Manager, Associate Manager, and Front Line Operations Manager, providing communications consulting and managing front-line teams. Karin holds a B.S. in Business from Wake Forest University, obtained in 1998.
