John Sims has extensive experience in information technology and security, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Wheaton Group of Companies since July 2017. In addition, John holds the position of IT Manager at both First Canadian Group of Companies and First Canadian Insurance Corporation, roles maintained since November 2012. Prior to these positions, John worked as an Information Systems Manager at the Department of National Defence from July 2006 to November 2012. John is an alumnus of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).
