Pat McGowan is President of University Book Store, a collegiate retailer operating five locations in Wisconsin, primarily serving the needs of University of Wisconsin students, alumni, and fans. The University Book Store has been in existence since 1894 and has enjoyed tremendous success both financially and in furthering its mission in the past 15 years under Pat’s leadership.

As a visionary in the industry with proven success through times of unprecedented change, Pat has been asked to serve on several national and local boards, including NACS Foundation Board, ICBA Board of Directors, NACSCORP Board of Directors, Indico Board of Directors, MIG Commercial Real Estate, Village of Waunakee Finance Committee, Village of Waunakee Plan Commission, Village of Waunakee/Town of Westport Joint Plan Commission, and Edgewood Campus Grade School.

Pat received his BBA from the University of Wisconsin Madison with degrees in both Accounting and in Finance, Investment, and Banking in May of 1987 and his CPA designation in 1990.
