Garnet Mowatt serves as the DEIB Liaison for the Middle School and Chair of the Music Department at The Key School in Annapolis, MD, where responsibilities also include functioning as a Piano Instructor. Additionally, Garnet holds the position of Director of Music at St. Michael's and All Angels Episcopal since April 2023, and has been the Organist/Minister of Music at First Baptist since August 2017. As Artistic Director at GChris Productions since August 2016 and an Adjunct Professor at Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts since August 2014, Garnet contributes to the arts education field. Furthermore, Garnet serves as Program Director at Key of G Academy since July 2013. Garnet Mowatt earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Music Teacher Education from the University of Mississippi between 2009 and 2012.
