Nick Dichev has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Nick started their career at Barracuda as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the core product team for a cloud SMTP proxy firewall. Nick'sresponsibilities included developing front-end and core email scanning features, as well as maintenance of microservice deployment and infrastructure pipelines. Nick also played a key role in "dockerizing" legacy applications and setting up an integration with a centralized log aggregation platform.

After that, Nick joined Peek.com as a Software Engineer, primarily working in Elixir with support of legacy Ruby/Rails services. Nick was responsible for building and extending GraphQL APIs, developing REST APIs for platform integration, and extending the in-house e-commerce platform. Nick also worked on feature development, writing and maintaining tests, and bug fixes.

Following their time at Peek.com, Nick joined Kamana as a Senior Software Engineer. Nick served as the technical lead on the "Kamana 2.0" feature set, which contributed to a deal worth $1M+ in ARR. Nick also led the API/Data team, delivering the first public APIs to customers and developing BI reporting capabilities for internal teams.

Currently, Nick works at Firework as a Software Engineer, starting in November 2022.

Nick Dichev attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2013 to 2017, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
