Jin Chen has a strong background in software engineering and mobile development. They started their career in 2007 as a Technical Lead at Aplix Corporation, where they led the mobile team in developing a market-leading Java platform for mobile feature phones. During this role, they gained experience in C/C++ software development and J2ME performance tuning.

In 2012, Jin Chen joined NetDragon Websoft Holdings Limited as a Mobile Engineering Manager. They worked on the IM/99U App, similar to Wechat, and collaborated with the CTO to refactor the IM system with a DDD architecture. They also led the mobile team in developing a new IM system with strong scalability and high performance.

In 2016, Jin Chen was promoted to Head of iOS Engineering Department at NetDragon. They managed over 90 iOS engineers and designed a uniform company-level iOS architecture to support various Netdragon apps, including IM, Social, Office, and Education applications. They also built an App factory of modular development framework to eliminate business module dependencies and enable parallel work by different engineer teams.

Most recently, Jin Chen joined Firework in 2021 as an Engineering Manager - Mobile, where they are responsible for managing the mobile team and overseeing the development of mobile products.

Throughout their career, Jin Chen has demonstrated expertise in team leadership, remote team collaboration, architecture design, and performance optimization in the mobile development field. They have also gained solid English communication skills and experience working with international teams.

Jin Chen completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Kunming University of Science and Technology from 2004 to 2007.
