Lauren Martorell is an experienced English teacher currently working at JL Mann High School since July 2021, where curriculum development and student-centered instruction are primary responsibilities. Previously, Lauren taught English Language Arts at League Academy of Communication Arts for six years, also serving as the Literacy & English Department Chairperson and Head Girls Soccer Coach. Experience includes roles as Head Girls Soccer Coach for Greenville County Schools and various positions in customer service, including Beer Tender at Fireforge Crafted Beer. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the State University of New York College at Oneonta and a Master of Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Canisius College.
