Megan Williams has a strong background in program and project management within the biopharmaceutical industry. Megan most recently served as the Head of Program Management and Portfolio Strategy at Firefly Biologics starting in February 2023. Prior to that, from June 2020 to November 2022, they worked as the Executive Director of Program Management at Silverback Therapeutics.

From November 2017 to June 2020, Megan held the position of Senior Director of Program and Project Management at Aptevo Therapeutics Inc. Before that, they worked at Alder Biopharmaceuticals Inc. as an Associate Director of Project and Portfolio Management from October 2016 to November 2017.

In August to October 2016, Megan worked as a Senior Program Manager at Aptevo Therapeutics Inc. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Project Manager at Emergent BioSolutions from April 2011 to July 2016.

Megan began their career in project management at MacroGenics, where they worked as a Project Manager from February 2008 to December 2010.

Megan Williams completed their education starting from 1995 to 1999 at Cornell University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. From 2000 to 2006, they attended the University of Washington, earning a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology. During their time at the University of Washington, they also pursued an M.B.A. from 2003 to 2005, though the field of study for their M.B.A. was not specified.
