Morgan Ruesch is a propulsion analyst at Firefly Aerospace, specializing in engine performance since May 2023. Prior to this role, Morgan served as a research scientist at CRAFT Tech, where support was provided for combustion and propulsion research programs involving modeling and simulation activities. Morgan's academic background includes a PhD and MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from Purdue University, where a NASA-funded fellowship facilitated research on solid rocket propellant flame structures and led to the development of novel laser diagnostics. Additionally, Morgan has held research positions at Sandia National Laboratories, the Air Force Research Laboratory, and NASA, contributing to various projects in propulsion and combustion science, as well as internships in engineering and maintenance roles at Rio Tinto Kennecott Utah Copper and ATK.
