Lauren Arkell is a dedicated Mission Operations Engineer at Firefly Aerospace since April 2024, with prior experience as a Mission Engineer at Genesis Engineering Solutions, Inc. from June 2022 to April 2024. Additionally, Lauren served as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach for the CAPITAL LACROSSE CLUB INC and the National Cathedral School between September 2023 and March 2024. A NASA LERCIP Intern at NASA Glenn Research Center in summer 2021, Lauren conducted research on lunar dust mitigation solutions. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Davidson College, where involvement included roles as an Embedded Math Tutor and Independent Physics Researcher. Early work experience ranges from coaching lacrosse to roles in customer service and farm work, fostering a diverse skill set.
