Cole Bowden is a professional with diverse experience in technology and community management, currently serving as a Developer Advocate at Firebolt since October 2024. Bowden has held the position of Community Manager and Tournament Operations Lead at Risen Esports since October 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Release Manager and Developer Advocate at Starburst from May 2022 to September 2024, and Software Engineer at Facebook from September 2019 to June 2021, following an internship there in 2018. Additionally, Bowden worked as a Resident Advisor at Vanderbilt University from August 2017 to May 2018 and as a lead instructor and instructor at iD Tech Camps in 2017 and 2016, respectively. Early professional experience includes a position as a Strategic Support Associate at Jackson in July and August 2015. Cole Bowden holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Michigan (2021-2022) and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Vanderbilt University (2015-2019). A high school diploma was obtained from Severn School in 2015.
