Colin Murray

Commercial Director APAC at Fireblocks

Colin Murray began their work experience as a Marketing Communications Manager at Earthport in 2006. Colin coordinated and standardized marketing activities and supported the development and distribution of press releases. Colin also managed the design, development, and launch of a new brand identity and website. After that, Colin worked at Ivobank Ltd as a Marketing Manager from 2007 to 2008, where they developed and launched a new brand, managed industry launch events, and handled third-party agency management.

From 2008 to 2009, Colin served as a Product Manager at Ivobank. In this role, they reviewed and approved proposed system changes, conducted competitor and market analysis, and wrote reports.

Next, Colin joined Envoy Services Ltd as a Marketing Director from 2009 to 2012. Colin was responsible for all aspects of marketing, including completing a brand refresh, launching the company in new industries, and managing large global client accounts.

Starting in 2012, Colin worked at Worldpay, initially as the VP of Industry Intelligence & Innovation. Colin then became the Senior Alternative Payment Product Manager and finally the VP of Video Games. In these roles, they led cross-functional teams, identified market trends, met financial targets, and advised merchants on strategic direction.

After their time at Worldpay, Colin joined Adyen as a Commercial Director from 2014 to 2016. Colin also took a personal trip to South America during this period.

From 2016 to 2019, Colin served as the Chief Product Officer at Vitesse PSP Limited, leading product development and strategic initiatives.

Following this, they worked at Checkout.com as the SVP of Business Development from 2019 to 2021, focusing on expanding the company's business.

Most recently, Colin joined Fireblocks in 2021 as the Commercial Director APAC, where they oversee commercial operations in the Asia-Pacific region.

Colin Murray pursued their education by completing a BSc in Psychology from the University of Portsmouth from 2002 to 2005, where they achieved a 2:1 degree. Later, they attended the Cass Business School from 2009 to 2011, where they earned their Executive MBA. Their studies at Cass Business School covered various subjects such as Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Fast Track Venturing, Corporate Finance, and Private Equity.
