Arron King has extensive experience in fire safety and emergency management, currently serving as an Advisor for Community Readiness & Recovery at Fire and Emergency NZ since October 1999, with notable promotion to Chief Fire Officer in August 2020. Arron’s roles have emphasized public education initiatives in fire safety throughout the Bay of Plenty District. Previous positions include Project Manager at Maintain To Profit, Emergency Products Technical Sales Representative at Wormald, and Control of Works Supervisor at New Zealand Oil Services Limited. Additionally, Arron’s educational background includes various certifications in fire and rescue services, process safety, and occupational health and safety, with a foundational degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wintec.
