Yongjun Liu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Yongjun recently joined FinThrive as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Anthem, Inc. as a Sr. Data Scientist from May 2021 to May 2022. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a Sr. Data Scientist at nThrive. Before that, they worked at ARGENT DIAGNOSTICS, INC. as a Research Scientist focusing on data analytics and experiment development. Yongjun also had a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Precision Biopsy LLC, where they worked on data modeling for cancer diagnosis. Additionally, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Houston Methodist and completed an internship at Advanced Optowave Corporation in the past.

Yongjun Liu earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences in 2010. In 2016-2017, they obtained a Master's Degree in Mathematical Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Yongjun also holds a Master's degree in Physical Electronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from Central China Normal University.
