Christopher Harris is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer at Datadog, focusing on Revenue Engineering and the Billing Platform since July 2020. As the Founding Architect and Lead Engineer, Christopher developed Datadog’s Cloud Cost Management product and created scalable Big Data systems across major cloud providers. Christopher's expertise also extends to the FinOps Foundation as a maintainer for the FOCUS Spec. Prior roles include Staff Engineer at CloudHealth by VMware, where significant enhancements to drill-down reporting and multi-cloud collection were made. Christopher has also served as Principal Software Engineer and Chief Architect at Attend, Inc., and held positions at Groupon and VMware. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Boston College and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Brandeis University.
