Michael Butler is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in tax and revenue law. Since 2001, Michael has served as a Partner at Finlaysons, holding the title of Tax & Revenue Partner. Prior experience includes a similar role at Piper Alderman from 1994 to 2001, and a position as Senior Associate at Allen Allen & Hemsley from 1990 to 1994. Michael began a legal career at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP as a Foreign Lawyer in 1989 and worked as a Manager at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from 1985 to 1989. Michael holds a Master's Degree in Law from the University of Cambridge and dual degrees in Economics and Law (with Honours) from the University of Adelaide.
