Tuomas Mattila is an experienced expert in the energy sector, currently working at Fingrid Oyj since June 2016, focusing on balancing markets and leading projects related to the European aFRR platform PICASSO and the digitalization of power system operations. Prior to this role, Tuomas served as a Project Engineer in the Power Generation division of Siemens Osakeyhtiö, where responsibilities included electrification projects for power plants and control systems for various voltage switchgears and generators. Earlier experience as a Specialist in the Transmission & Distribution division involved managing grid substation projects, emphasizing control and protection systems for medium and high-voltage substations.
