Jeffrey Wicks has extensive work experience in software engineering, particularly in the insurance industry and healthcare sector. Jeffrey started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Draper in 2001, where they gained experience in software design and development. Jeffrey then joined Draper as a Member of the Technical Staff in 2003, where they were involved in requirements engineering and system-level accuracy analysis. In 2012, they became a Technical Director at Draper, leading a team of software engineers in developing an Android application for the Air Force and Army.

In 2013, Jeffrey moved to Casamba Home & Hospice (formerly HealthWyse), where they held various positions. As a Senior Software Engineer, they designed and implemented electronic medical record (EMR) software, focusing on backend development using Java, Spring, and Hibernate, as well as mobile development using Xamarin and C# for iOS, Android, and Windows. Jeffrey later became a Principal Software Engineer, responsible for front-end and back-end web development using Java, Spring, TypeScript, and JavaScript, as well as mobile development using Cordova and Xamarin.

In 2020, Jeffrey joined Limelight Health as a Software Engineer III, where they continued to design and develop software for the insurance industry using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Kubernetes on AWS platforms. Later in the same year, they transitioned to FINEOS as a Software Engineer III, continuing their work in designing and developing software for the insurance industry using similar technologies.

Jeffrey Wicks completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Jeffrey then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they attended Questrom School of Business at Boston University, completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from 2008 to 2010.
