Terhi Lambert-Karjalainen is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in banking inspection, communications, and volunteerism. Currently serving as a Banking Inspector at Finanssivalvonta since January 2022, Terhi has also held roles as a Member of the Communications Committee for Sydän- Ja Keuhkosiirrokkaat since May 2024, promoting heart and lung transplant themes, and as a Volunteer Ambassador for HelsinkiMissio since November 2022, advocating for volunteer positions. Additionally, Terhi is a Board Member and Fundraising Committee member at The St. Thomas Community and has experience as an Informal Caregiver for a spouse awaiting lung transplant surgery. Previous positions include Internal Auditor at the Bank of Finland and extensive roles at both Finanssivalvonta and various media organizations as a Communications Manager and Journalist. Terhi holds an M. Sc. in Finnish Language and Communication from the Helsinki School of Economics, along with further education in international advertising and executive education.
