Dr. Tamer Said Metwally is an experienced professional in the financial and human resources sectors, currently serving as Deputy Head of the Human Resources Central Department and Deputy Head of the Financial Affairs Central Department at the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) since October 2019, with previous experience as Acting Head of the Financial Affairs Central Department. Prior to this role, Dr. Metwally worked at the Ministry of Finance for two decades, holding positions such as Financial Controller at Port Said Governorate and Account Manager. Early in the career, experience included roles as a Suppliers Accountant at Oriental Weavers and an Internal Auditor at Honeywell (The Egyptian Company for Food Industries). Dr. Metwally holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Technology and a Master's Degree in Accounting, both from Zagazig University.
