Jacob Abboud has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sector. Jacob is currently a member of the board at Financial Ombudsman Service Limited.

Previously, they were Chief Information Officer (UK & Ireland) - Interim Consultant at AXA from November 2019 to August 2020. Prior to that, they were with Petraenovus Consulting.

From April 2017 to January 2019, Jacob Abboud was Non Executive Director - Board Member at Premierline, a independent broker service provider and wholly owned subsidiary of Allianz Holdings.

From March 2016 to March 2019, they were Non Executive Director - Board Member at Motor Insurers Bureau, where they were also Chair of Digital Transformation Board sub Committee & Co-chair of Nomination Committee. In May 2019, they took on an advisory role helping MIB with their Transformation.

Prior to that, Jacob Abboud was Chief Information Officer & Management Board Member at Allianz Insurance from November 2015 to February 2019. Before that, they were IT Director at Legal & General from April 2008 to May 2015.

Jacob Abboud's educational career began with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Bath. Jacob then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer-Aided Engineering from the same school.
