Alexander Stepanov began their work experience as a Development Manager at Quest Software in 2001, where they remained until 2011. Alexander then joined Netwrix Россия/СНГ as a Team Leader from November 2011 to February 2022. Currently, they are working as a Senior Developer at FINAM, starting from September 2022.

Alexander Stepanov attended Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University from 1991 to 1997. Alexander studied "Вычислительные машины, комплексы, системы и сети" (Computing Machinery, Complexes, Systems, and Networks) during this time. In addition, they obtained an EFSET English Certificate with a score of 70/100 (C1 Advanced) from EF Standard English Test in June 2022.
