Karen James is a seasoned Senior Copywriter currently working with Filter, a 24 Seven Company, since February 2022, focusing on REI. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Copywriter at Hey from November 2011 to February 2022, and freelance copywriting from September 2009 to November 2011. Earlier in their career, Karen held copywriting positions at egg brand development from January 2006 to September 2009 and The Regence Group from October 2004 to August 2006. Karen holds an MA in Russian Studies & Applied Linguistics from American University and a BA in Liberal Arts & Sciences/Liberal Studies from Western Washington University, complemented by studies at the School of Visual Concepts.
