Balázs Szendrő has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Balázs started their career in 2006 as a Software Developer at Black Hole Entertainment, where they worked on porting multiplayer and online features to the Xbox 360 LIVE platform. Balázs then joined Sparsense in 2008 as an HPC Software Developer, where they implemented a distributed data compression algorithm on a cluster of Sony Playstation 3 game consoles.

In 2009, Balázs returned to Black Hole Entertainment as a Software Developer, where they contributed to the creation of a particle engine and its corresponding particle editor for Might & Magic Heroes VI. Balázs also gained experience in developing complex functions using a custom expression language.

In 2013, Balázs joined CAE Engineering Kft. as a Software Developer, where they made contributions to legacy code migration, device driver porting, and system testing for the Boeing 777. Balázs developed specific tools to transform code and generate automated tests, and worked closely with a real pilot/engineer in developing system tests.

From 2016 to 2017, Balázs worked as a Freelance Software Engineer, providing software development services independently. Since 2018, they have been working at FileWave as a Senior Software Engineer, utilizing their skills and experience in software development.

Balázs Szendrő completed their education at Eötvös Loránd University from 2000 to 2006, earning an MSc in Computer Science. During their time there, they focused on various subjects including Computer Graphics, Digital Image Processing, AI, Languages & Compilers, and Information Systems.

In addition to their degree, Balázs Szendrő has obtained several certifications. Balázs completed a Windows Presentation Foundation Masterclass from Udemy in January 2023. In 2021, they completed two online courses through MITx on edX: "18.03L: Transfer Functions and the Laplace Transform" in July and "18.03Fx: Differential Equations: Fourier Series and Partial Differential Equations" in June.
