McKaye Black serves as the Head of Incubation at the Filene Research Institute since January 2024, focusing on advancing consumer financial wellbeing through innovative approaches. Previously, McKaye held the position of Senior Design and Business Innovation Strategist & External Innovation Lead at C1 Innovation Lab - Blue Cross Blue Shield, where responsibilities included spearheading growth opportunities and fostering partnerships. Additional roles have encompassed serving as an Adjunct Professor & Designer in Residence at Southern Methodist University, consulting on design and innovation strategies, and leading teams at various organizations such as P&G Ventures and Celanese. McKaye's educational background includes an MBA and an MS in Design Innovation from Northwestern University, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
