David Travers is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in finance and venture capital. Currently serving as President and Chief Financial Officer at ZipRecruiter since December 2015, David also holds the position of Managing Partner at Basepoint Ventures, specializing in early-stage venture capital, since August 2014. David contributes to the community as a Governing Board Member for LA’s BEST since 2010 and has been a Partner at Rustic Canyon Partners since 2005. Previously, David served as Executive Assistant to the National Security Advisor at the National Security Council from 2002 to 2003 and worked as a Strategic Planning Senior Analyst at The Walt Disney Company from 1999 to 2002. David holds an MBA in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a BA in International Relations from Stanford University.
