Opal Khan currently serves as the Divisional Secretary Western for the Government of Fiji and has extensive experience in administration and finance, including a concurrent role as Divisional Secretary Northern since December 2021. Opal's career spans various positions, including Division Secretary Northern at the Ministry of Justice and Manager of the Government Service Center Northern Division. A journalist with Fiji Times Ltd since February 1988, Opal has also contributed as a Community Volunteer, assisting disadvantaged families and promoting self-sufficiency. Previous roles include Human Resources Manager at the Department of Public Works and Divisional Secretary Northern in the Office of the Commissioner. Educational qualifications include a degree from the University of the South Pacific and a University Entrance credential from Labasa College.
