Elin Jang is a student at Carnegie Mellon University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Statistics, Decision Science, and Human Computer Interaction. As the Figma Campus Leader, Elin is instrumental in fostering a design community on campus by collaborating with the Figma for Education team, facilitating workshops, and promoting design tools. Elin also serves as Co-President of the CMU User Experience Association and has held leadership roles such as President of the Development Solutions Organization, where strategic initiatives to enhance student engagement were implemented. Previous internships include roles in UI/UX design at OTB English, product design at Advan Research Corporation, data analytics at the U.S. Embassy Singapore, software development at Riiid, and research and development at Boeing. Research involvement at Carnegie Mellon focused on the cognitive impacts of technology on creativity.
