Timothy Burch is an accomplished professional in the surveying field, currently serving as Executive Director of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) since December 2021. Burch also holds the position of Chair for Commission 1 - Professional Standards at FIG - International Federation of Surveyors and serves as a Brand Ambassador for Get Kids into Survey. Burch's extensive experience includes various leadership roles within NSPS and contributions to publications such as GPS World Magazine. Burch's previous positions include Director of Surveying at SPACECO, Inc., Survey Department Manager at Chastain & Associates LLC, and Senior Land Surveyor at Hanson Professional Services Inc. Burch's academic background includes an A.A.S. in Business Administration from McHenry County College and a lengthy attendance at Richland Community College. Recognized as the 2012 Pat Patterson Surveyor of the Year, Burch is dedicated to promoting geospatial careers and advancing professional standards in surveying.
