Rew Islam currently serves as the Co-Chair of the FIDO Credential Provider Special Interest Group at FIDO Alliance since April 2023. Islam has been a Board Member and Director of Product Engineering and Innovation at Dashlane since December 2011, with a focus on passwordless and phishing-resistant solutions. Past roles at Dashlane include Director of Engineering, overseeing the Apple and Android app teams, and Senior Engineering Manager, managing iOS and macOS teams. Prior to Dashlane, Islam was an iOS/Web Engineer at Xerox Research Centre Europe, developing a photo-sharing website and contributing to the creation of Pixy the Robot. Earlier experience includes Senior Web Developer positions at HeathWallace, where numerous public-facing websites for major banks were developed, and a Web Developer role at Snowstorm Development Ltd. Rew Islam holds a BSc in Computer Science and Cybernetics from the University of Reading.
