Johan S. Ekelund has a wealth of experience in the marketing and advertising industry. Johan began their career in 2006 as a Qurator for Malmö Nation. Johan then moved to DDB Stockholm in 2008, where they worked as a Project Manager mainly with McDonalds and their franchises. In 2010, they joined Scholz & Friends as a Project Manager, working with clients such as Media Markt, Nike, Husqvarna, and Lokal Tidningarna MittI. In 2011, they took on two roles, first as an Account Manager for ANR BBDO, where they worked with clients such as Kronans Droghandel, Nycomed, Klarna and Arla Foods, and then as a Brand Manager for Jägermeister in Sweden. In 2013, they became the Client Service Director for Znaptag AB, focusing on the relations with advertisers and publishers in Sweden. In 2014, they joined STARZ Play as Product Director, overseeing all new implementations, UI & UX design, adaptations for new market strategy and experience, prioritization of functionalities and owning the overall roadmap for devices and improvements to the service. In 2015, they joined Keyflow as CEO, Chief Operations Officer, and Chief Product Officer. Finally, in 2021, they became the VP Strategy & Growth for Fidesmo.
Johan S. Ekelund began their education in 1996 at Enskilda Gymnasiet. From 2003 to 2007, they studied Philosophy and Economics at Lund University. In 2007, they earned a Bachelor degree in Account Management from Berghs School of Communication.
