In 2016, Ruwan Tharaka started working at Lakmedipro as a Trainer Software Developer until June 2016. In the same year, they joined Best Life International as an Associate Software Engineer and worked there until November 2018. Ruwan then advanced to the role of Software Engineer at Best Life International, where they worked from November 2018 to July 2022. Currently, Ruwan Tharaka is employed as a Software Engineer at Fidenz Technologies starting from June 2022.

Ruwan Tharaka began their education in the field of Information Technology in 2013 when they enrolled in HNDIT (Higher National Diploma In) program. Ruwan successfully completed this program and graduated in 2015. Later in 2019, they further pursued their studies at the University of Moratuwa, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
