Lawrence Rakers is a seasoned investment professional with over 30 years of experience at Fidelity Investments, currently serving as the Group Leader for the Alternatives group within the Strategic Advisors Division, which manages over $800 billion in assets. Rakers has held various key roles at Fidelity, including Mutual Fund Manager and Group Leader of Asset Allocation. Prior to joining Fidelity, Rakers worked as a Project Engineer at Honeywell/Loral, focusing on the development of infrared detectors for military applications. Rakers holds an MBA in Finance from Northeastern University and two degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
