Linda Beacham Wemyss is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President Business Banker and Vice President Branch Manager at Ameris Bank since March 2015, Linda has held significant positions at Fidelity Bank as Branch Manager until November 2023 and at First Citizens Bank as Vice President Financial Sales Manager. Linda's earlier career includes roles at First Data Corporation as Senior Business Development Consultant and Wells Fargo Bank as Business Banker. Additionally, Linda has experience in education, having taught computer science at Shakerag Elementary School and served as Website Director for the Fulton County Board of Education. Linda began their career at First Union National Bank as Branch Manager and has also worked as a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines. Linda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky.
