Head Of Channel Enablement at Fidelity Life Assurance Company Limited

Mat Bark has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Mat started their career at Ford Motor Company, where they worked as a Systems Analyst and Senior Audit Specialist before becoming the Programme Manager for online Vehicle Configurator and Locator products.

After leaving Ford, Mat joined KPMG as a Senior Manager in Risk Assurance. Mat then moved on to Westpac, where they held various roles, including Manager of the Risk Management Office and Head of Change and Integration.

Mat later joined Westpac New Zealand as the Head of Our Bank, leading a sales team and implementing strategies to improve service quality and increase revenue. Mat then became the Acting Head of International Operations and Senior Manager for Trade Service and Process Excellence and Control at Westpac Banking Group NZ.

Before their current position, Mat worked for Sovereign as the Head of Business Technology Quality Assurance and the Head of Solution Delivery and Assurance. Mat then joined AIA as the Head of Existing Business, responsible for leading large projects and operations in the contact center.

Currently, Mat serves as the Head of Channel Enablement at Fidelity Life Assurance Company Limited.

Mat Bark received their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Aided Engineering and Design from Sheffield Hallam University in the years 1990-1994. Mat then pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Manufacturing systems and design from the same university in the years 1994-1995. Prior to their university education, Mat achieved A levels in Maths, Physics, and General Studies from King James School.
