Brian Swainston, FICA, currently serves as the Deputy MLRO and UK Head of FCC Advisory at Fidelity International, as well as the Head of 1st Line AML Operations since February 2018. In addition to these roles, Brian acts as the Chair of the Financial Crime working group at TISA UK and has been a member of the TA Forum Industry Peer AML Working Group since January 2016. Prior experience includes significant positions at Northern Trust Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed anti-financial crime and compliance for Transfer Agency, and various management roles in fund operations at Allfunds Bank, IFDS, Cofunds, and M&G. Brian's extensive background in AML, KYC, and operational management in the financial services sector is complemented by a solid educational foundation from Hylands School, Chelmsford.
