Olivier DIAS has a diverse work experience, starting as a Tele-enquer in TNS Sofres in 1998 and later becoming a Chargé Relation Clientèle at Infonie. In 1999, they worked as an Agent administratif at DGCP before transitioning to a Contrôleur Taxe Professionnelle role at DGI from 2000 to 2003. Olivier then worked as a Technology Tax Auditor at DGFIP from 2004 to 2016. Since 2014, Olivier has been a Deputy Mayor at Ville de Bourgoin-Jallieu, overseeing various responsibilities. In 2016, they joined Fidal as a Tax Technology Director, focusing on advising companies on Tax Technology across France.

Olivier DIAS completed their Bac D in Sciences (Mathématiques et Biologie) at Lycée Lacassagne (Lyon) in 1992 before pursuing a Maîtrise in Histoire at Université Lumière Lyon 2 from 1992 to 1996. Olivier then attended Ecole Nationale des Impôts, where they obtained a Contrôleur degree in Fiscalité in 2000 and an Inspecteur degree in Fiscalité in 2004.
