Mario Soares is a seasoned Process Engineer at FICOSA - FicoCables since April 2013, specializing in process improvement and equipment project development. With a background in mechanical engineering, Mario completed a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials, and Manufacturing Technologies from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto between 2012 and 2015, following a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. In addition to industry experience, Mario serves as an Assistant Professor at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto since February 2016 and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Advanced Machining. Prior internship experience involved enhancing plastic injection processes, focusing on automation of component extraction and automatic supply of inserts in plastic injection molds.
