Pawan Thapa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in hydrology and civil engineering. Since July 2008, Pawan has been serving as a Project Engineer, Hydrologist, and GIS expert in the Hydropower Department at FICHTNER GmbH & Co. KG in Stuttgart, Germany, where responsibilities include project management and hydraulic expertise. Prior to this role, from May 1999 to March 2005, Pawan worked at Kathmandu Engineering College, where Pawan held positions as Vice-Principal, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, and Senior Lecturer, overseeing academic operations and teaching water-related subjects. Pawan holds a PhD in Hydrology from the University of Stuttgart, an MSc in Water Resources Engineering from Tribhuvan University, and a BE in Civil Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
