Vanessa Wong is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director of Sterile Manufacturing at FibroGen, Inc., where responsibilities include overseeing process development and technology transfer for late-stage and commercial biologics. Prior to this role, Vanessa held several key positions, including Associate Director of Drug Product Manufacturing at Coherus BioSciences, where technical leadership was provided for biosimilar drug products, and Senior Manager of Process Engineering at Horizon Pharma, focusing on small-molecule orphan drug development. Earlier experience includes managing contract manufacturing at Amgen and senior engineering roles at Pain Therapeutics, Nektar Therapeutics, ALZA Corporation, and Merck & Co., culminating in a robust background in process development, manufacturing, and quality assurance across multiple drug product modalities.
