Richard Utano is the Chief Operating Officer at Fibertek Inc., a position held since March 2001, where responsibilities include leading the technical team in project execution, personnel development, and business development, while providing strategic guidance to senior leadership on various initiatives. Prior to this role, Richard served as the Director of Programs at NVESD from August 1983 to March 2001 and worked as an Electronic Engineer. Richard holds a degree in Optics from the University of Rochester, obtained between 1979 and 1983, and a Master's degree in Electronic Systems from the University of Central Florida, completed from 1989 to 1990.
