Prakash Chandra Kandpal is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the State Bank of India and its affiliates. Notable positions include DMD - Retail at State Bank of India from July 2022 to December 2023, Managing Director & CEO at SBI General Insurance from June 2019 to July 2022, and Chief General Manager & Head of Strategic Training at State Bank of India from August 2015 to May 2019, overseeing learning and development for the entire organization. Prakash's earlier roles included significant responsibilities in agriculture banking, business operations, and HR management. An alumnus of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Prakash holds a Master's in Financial Management, complemented by an MA in Economics from Kumaun University.
