Allan Sadowski has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Allan began their career at the United States Air Force in 1973 and served as a Sergeant until 1978. After that, they joined IKONAS, where they started as a technician and engineer, eventually designing circuit boards and creating projects of their own. In 1982, they moved back to the United States Air Force and served there until 1996, rising from the rank of SSgt to Major. Following their military service, Sadowski worked for the United States Department of Defense as a System Engineer until 1998. Allan then joined the North Carolina State Highway Patrol as an IT Manager, overseeing the organization's information technology needs until 2014. After that, they became the Director of Infrastructure Planning at the North Carolina Office of Information Technology Services from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, Sadowski worked as an independent consultant, providing technical consulting services in RF and data communications until 2018. In 2013, they became the Chief Engineer at FGS, LLC, and has been working there since. Most recently, in 2019, they joined the Wireless Research Center of North Carolina as a Senior Staff Engineer, providing technical support for Public Safety and Defense activities. Allan Sadowski received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from North Carolina State University, where they studied from 1978 to 1983. Allan then pursued a Master of Science in Information Systems and Technology (MSIST) from Hawaii Pacific University, completing their studies from 1989 to 1994. In addition to their technical education, Allan also studied the German Language at Dresden International University (DIU), although the duration and completion of this program are not provided.
