Laura Galeano

Laura Galeano is an experienced professional with a diverse background in program management, research assistance, and education. Currently serving as the Foundation Grants Manager and Program Manager at PFLAG National/Straight for Equality since March 2021, Laura also holds a Research Assistant position at The City University of New York since March 2023. Additionally, Laura has been an Adjunct Lecturer at John Jay College (CUNY) since January 2018 and previously worked as a Programs Associate at Amnesty International USA from September 2018 to March 2021. Other roles include Development Assistant at The Brearley School, Research Assistant at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York, and multiple positions at Amnesty International USA. Laura holds a Master of Arts in International Crime & Justice from John Jay College and a Bachelor of Arts in International Criminal Justice from the same institution, with additional education from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
