Gaia Catarsi has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Gaia is currently employed at Fever-Tree as the Head of Finance for EMEA & LatAm since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Fever-Tree as a Finance Business Partner for EMEA from July 2021 to March 2023. In this role, they conducted analysis on distributor performance, tracked promotional investment and spending, developed models and tools for stakeholders, and assisted with ad-hoc projects.
Before their time at Fever-Tree, Gaia worked at Rémy Cointreau as a Commercial Finance Analyst from July 2018 to July 2020. In this role, they were responsible for creating and developing a Commercial Finance structure, analyzing revenue and profitability, building relationships with the commercial team and distributors, and reporting financial indicators at the group level.
Prior to Rémy Cointreau, Gaia held positions at Avis Budget Group International as an Analyst Revenue Management in Italy from October 2016 to June 2018, Deloitte Italia as an Auditor from October 2014 to August 2016, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts as an Income Auditor from April 2014 to October 2014, Philips for in-company training in February 2013, and Banca della Maremma Credito Cooperativo di Grosseto for an internship in July 2012.
Gaia Catarsi obtained their Qualification in Management Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 2018-2022. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in General Management at Università Bocconi from 2012-2015. Gaia also participated in an exchange program at National Chengchi University in 2013-2014, focusing on Economia aziendale/manageriale. Gaia's undergraduate education was at Università Bocconi where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Corso di Laurea in Economia per Arte Cultura e Comunicazione from 2009-2012. Before attending university, they completed their Maturità classica at Liceo Classico "Carducci-Ricasoli" from 2004-2009. Additionally, Gaia has certifications in the Internation English Language Testing System from the British Council in 2012 and the European Computer Driving Licence in 2007.
