Thomas Durand has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Thomas began their career as an Engineer Assistant (Trainee) at Inductotherm Group in July 2011. Thomas then moved on to Tenencia Aerospace Design in July 2012, where they continued working as an Engineer Assistant (Trainee) until January 2013. Thomas then joined Toyota Motor Europe in June 2013 and took on the role of Engineer Assistant (Trainee) until January 2014. Thomas then became a Resident Engine Calibration Engineer at Toyota Motor Europe, where they worked on Euro 6 Emissions Calibration for various engine types. In October 2015, Thomas joined FEV Europe GmbH as a Resident Engine Calibration Engineer at Renault, a role they held until October 2016. From October 2016 to January 2021, they worked as an Engine Calibration Engineer at FEV Europe GmbH, specializing in combustion projects. Most recently, Thomas became the Project Leader for Combustion at FEV Europe GmbH in February 2019, before transitioning to their current role as Lead Engineer for H2 engine development in January 2021.
Thomas Durand holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (2010-2013). Before that, they attended CPGE Henri Wallon (2007-2010), where they pursued studies in MPSI-PSI.
