Swapnil Sonar has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Technical Business Analyst Intern at Pra-Vi InfoSolutions Pvt. Ltd. in 2009. Swapnil then worked as a Data Analyst at 3-F Software, where they analyzed client data and developed schema data models for the Volkswagon India project. Swapnil also created a Merge tool to integrate distributed databases.

In 2012, Swapnil worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas before becoming a Data Analyst Intern at Education Futures Group. In this role, they designed a SQL Server database for quarterly evaluations and transformed the existing evaluation reporting system using SSRS.

Swapnil then interned at Southwest Airlines as an Inflight-Crew Operations Analyst, where they gained experience in understanding real-time tracking systems and gathering business requirements.

Swapnil joined CGI in 2013 and held various roles, including Business Intelligence Analyst and more recently as a Senior Consultant, specializing in Business Intelligence. Swapnil was responsible for identifying and documenting business rules, participating in requirements meetings and data mapping sessions, and designing and implementing ETL enhancements for clients.

Most recently, they started working as a Data Wizard at Fetch in 2022.

Swapnil Sonar completed a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2006 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Swapnil Sonar acquired skills in Advanced SQL - Window Functions from LinkedIn in March 2022. Swapnil also obtained certifications from HackerRank in March 2022. Additionally, Swapnil Sonar completed a Graduate Certification in SAS Business Intelligence and Data Mining from the University of Texas at Dallas and SAS Institute in May 2012.
