Nick Perozzi

Executive Junior Software Engineer at Fetch

Nick Perozzi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nick is currently working as an Executive Junior Software Engineer at Fetch since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Shure Incorporated as a Mobile Software Engineer from February 2022 to November 2022 and as an Android Developer Intern from February 2022 to May 2022.

In 2021, Nick pursued self-training as a mobile developer, focusing on Android development. Nick built various mobile projects in pursuit of an internship or full-time work in this field. Nick showcased their work on GitHub and the Google Play Store.

In 2020, Nick worked at Engineering World Health as an Instructor and Facilitator. Nick instructed students from different countries on designing engineering infrastructure appropriately in low-resource settings. Nick also created and compiled instructional resources for future use.

From 2017 to 2021, Nick served as a Board Member and Project Lead at Akelos. At the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from January 2019 to June 2021.

Prior to that, Nick gained experience as a Civil Engineer Intern at Greeley and Hansen in 2018. In 2017, they owned and operated their own business, Ironic Tees T-Shirt Company. Nick also mentored with the Honduras Water Project from 2016 to 2018 and interned at POMPEII 3, INC. as a Summer Intern in 2015.

Nick Perozzi obtained a Master's degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering - Contextual Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2018, they earned a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Hydrology and Water Resources Science from the same institution. In addition to their academic achievements, Nick Perozzi obtained the certification of Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2022.
