Phu Ta has been working in the robotics industry since 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they were an Engineering Intern at Mori Seiki Usa Inc. After that, they worked as a Robotics Quality Engineer at Kawasaki Robotics USA inc. from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they moved to Aicare as a QA Engineer and, in 2018, they became a Lead Escalation Engineer at Fetch Robotics.

Phu Ta attended the University of California, Davis, where they studied Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. In April 2014, they obtained an Engineer In Training certification from the NCEES.
