Moneim Adwan is a distinguished composer with extensive experience in the field of music. Currently serving as a composer at La Monnaie / De Munt since May 2017, Moneim's notable work includes the composition of the opera Orfeo et Majnun, which premiered on June 29, 2018. In addition, Moneim has been associated with the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence since January 2008, fulfilling roles as a resident composer and choir conductor, with significant contributions including numerous concerts and the opera Kalila wa Dimna, created in 2016, as well as leading the multicultural choir Ibn Zaydoun.
